Please nominate the two Centre-Left Grassroots Alliance (CLGA) backed candidates standing in this year’s elections to the Conference Arrangements Committee (CAC).

They need nominations from CLPs (deadline 14 June).

The candidates are:-

Seema Chandwani

Seema currently represents the CLPs on the CAC and is re-standing for election. She is also a Councillor in the London Borough of Haringey and Vice Chair of the London Labour Party.

Mitcham and Morden CLP
Labour Party Membership Number A065571
Billy currently represents the CLPs on the CAC and is re-standing for election. He is the former General Secretary of the Communication Workers Union.

The CAC sets the agenda for Labour’s Annual Conference; which is the Party’s sovereign body, the main forum for debate and decisions and an important platform for the Party to communicate with voters.

CLPs can make up to two nominations for the CAC. The election will take place by OMOV ballot during this summer. At least one woman will be elected.
