Attached here are CLPD Model Motions for this year’s Annual Labour Party Conference.

CLPD is encouraging its members, where possible, to prioritise the motion on the leadership election rules (the first motion in the attached document).

Each CLP can consider submitting a Motion to this year’s Annual Conference (closing date 12 noon 12th September).

Every CLP has the right to submit one Motion, provided the CLP is not submitting a rule change this year.

Motions are one of the few opportunities that constituencies have to influence the Conference agenda and thus the Party’s policy making.

Please do all you can to press for a Motion at your branch/General Meeting/EC.
